garden of the gods

So things wrapped up early yesterday at the conference and I was able to make it out to the garden of the gods – a pretty sweet city park out in Colorado springs  - before my flight.  Took some photos, but they didn’t come out so well – that camera phone is seriously dying on me.  Guess it’s time to get a new one – it’s about 2 and half years old or so…  anyway, the park was awesome, and the weather was awesome – it was mid 60’s and there were giant rock formations, etc.  such clean air.  didn’t have time to drive up to pike’s peak, but the road wasn’t open to the top anyway (closed about 3 miles from the top) so that’s no big deal.  Uneventful flight back to san and met up with filer for some sweet ribs from phil’s.  man, those ribs just want to get in your mouth, they fall off the bone so easily.
