well, i had an appointment with the oral surgeon yesterday, and he said 2 more weeks.  and then 2 more weeks after that.  huh?  yeah, so in 2 weeks (aug 18) the doctor will cut the wires binding my top jaw to the bottom jaw, but will leave all the hardware in the mouth.  that's so just in case my bite shifts or something like that, then he can do whatever it is that he does.  if all is still good in 2 more weeks (sep 1) then all the metal wrapped around my teeth will finally come out.  awesome.  didn't expect the second 2 week period.  that really sucks.

 

so basically, 4 weeks down, 2 more to go.  weeks 7 and 8 will mostly be just like i'm wearing braces again.  joy.
